Weight Loss Contest Rules

Date of Contest - Wednesday, July 8th 2009 to Wednesday, October 7th 2009

Weigh In - if you live local to Gwen, you must weigh in at my house - 457 Jay Street in Kaysville between Tuesday, July 7th evening and Wednesday July 8th evening. If you are not local, you must take a picture of yourself on your scale - so we can see what you are wearing because this is what you need to wear on the final weigh in - and then a close up picture of your feet on your scale with your exact weight. These pictures and your exact weight need to be emailed to me - gwen@JGEI.com between Tues and Wed.

Entry Fee - The entry fee is $105 - $100 goes toward the pot - $5 goes to me for running the contest. It is a lot of work to manage the beginning and end weigh in along with the weekly postings! NOW....because of funds on some checks not being in the accounts on some of the last contests I have run, I will be cashing all checks 2 weeks (September 23) before the end of the contest. I will send out an email in the previous week to make sure everyone remembers the date they will be cashed so that funds must be available.

Rules -
1) Any method of weight loss is acceptable EXCLUDING surgery
2) You must post your weight weekly to me on Mondays before 10 pm to gwen@JGEI.com and then the weekly results will be posted on this blog by Tuesday 10 pm
3) If you miss 3 postings throughout the contest, you will be eliminated because we don't want to create a situation where someone doesn't post for a few weeks, we assume they have given up, and then they throw a huge loss up on the next posting.
4) You CAN NOT miss the last 2 postings - September 28th and October 5th or you will be elilminated. It is not fair to those who are in the running not to know where their competition stands.
5) There will be a final posting on Monday,October 5th and then the final weigh in is on Wednesday, October 7th.
6)There are no refunds for any reason

WINNER is based on total percent lost. The person with the highest percent lost wins the entire pot of money!
